Scholz intends to apply for vote of confidence in government on December 11

According to Scholz, the outcome of the vote will be an important step in the lead-up to the German elections set for February 23.
In an address to Bundestag members, Scholz urged them to work together for the good of the country until the elections, emphasizing that his government intends to continue its activities despite losing its parliamentary majority after the Free Democratic Party left the coalition.
"Let us, for the good of the country, work together until the new election," Scholz said.
