Saudi Arabia offers to mediate end to Russia-Ukraine war

Saudi Arabia is ready to mediate between Russia and Ukraine to end the war. The country is calling for an end to the crisis, according to Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, during the broadcast of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.
"Moving on to the Russian Ukrainian crisis - we must put an end to this crisiscontain its repercussions," he said.
The Foreign Minister noted that last year, Saudi Arabia hosted a meeting of national security advisers and representatives from over 40 countries and international organizations.
The Saudi prince also emphasized the need to make every possible effort to end the crisis and resolve disputes.
"We stand ready to continue our mediation efforts between the parties to the conflict," added Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.
