New images of the aftermath of the attack on the Tuapse oil refinery in Russia have been published online, reports Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.

After the fire at the Tuapse refinery was extinguished, massive destruction was recorded on the site.

According to Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, four large fuel storage tanks were completely destroyed, along with the adjacent infrastructure of the facility.

Two smaller tanks were also damaged — they are in the lower left corner of the video.

Another attack in April

The Tuapse oil refinery came under drone attack again on the night of April 28. This is already the third strike on the facility this month. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the strike on the enterprise.

Situation in Tuapse

Ukrainian drones once again attacked the oil terminal in Tuapse, Krasnodar Krai, Russia. This is already the third strike in the past two weeks.

As a result, a large fire broke out, spreading to more tanks. Local authorities decided to evacuate residents.

Earlier, the facility had already been attacked on April 16 and 20. In the first case, key installations were disabled, and the fire lasted for several days. In the second, the strikes hit the port infrastructure with finished products.

Overall, as a result of previous raids, 24 tanks were destroyed, and another four were damaged.

Following the attacks, interest in booking hotels in Krasnodar Krai for the May holidays dropped by 20.7% compared to last year. Against the backdrop of Ukrainian drone strikes, airport restrictions, and environmental issues in the Tuapse area, Russians are increasingly canceling trips to the region.

Ukraine has tested new models of FPV drones, which are expected to be sent to the front soon. Within one to two months, control over areas 100–150 kilometers from the border is expected to be strengthened through short-range strike drones.
