Satellite images of Russian Olenya, air base where jets take off to bomb Ukrainian cities

Where is the Olenya Air Base located
The airfield is located 92 kilometers from Murmansk and was built in the 1950s.
With the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Olenya Air Base became one of the Russian airfields used to launch missile strikes from Tu-95 aircraft on Ukrainian cities.
Currently, satellite photos from the airfield as of February 4 are shown.
It can be seen that dozens of Russian aircraft were stationed there, including:
- 10 Tu-95MS strategic bombers;
- 35 Tu-22M3 strategic bombers (32 of which are donors or not in use);
- 3 An-12 military transport aircraft;
- Su-30SM fighters (they usually accompany bombers during missile attacks).
