Satellite image reveals Sudzha checkpoint on Russian border
A satellite has recorded significant destruction at the Sudzha automobile border crossing point in the Kursk region, according to Radio Liberty.
It is noted that the image was taken on the morning of Tuesday, August 6. It confirms that there is significant destruction at the Sudzha automobile border crossing point in the Kursk region on the border with Ukraine.
However, it is unknown whether this is the result of shelling from Ukraine or drone strikes, or whether the checkpoint was damaged as a result of retaliatory actions by the Russian army.
The Sudzha gas measuring station is located next to the checkpoint. It is noted that it is "the only entrance for Russian gas to transit through Ukraine". Satellite images show no signs of damage to the station.
