By the end of the year, Samsung has introduced one of its latest innovations for 2023 - the Galaxy Book 4 series, which includes three models. Among them, a standout is the 2-in-1 transformer capable of unfolding into a large tablet with S Pen functionality, informs Samsung Newsroom.

Galaxy Book 4 Pro

This laptop is available in two sizes: 14" and 16". In both cases, it offers an AMOLED touchscreen display, a feature previously characteristic only of 360-degree transformers.

The screen specifications are similar: a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 pixels, variable refresh rate from 48 to 120 Hz, brightness up to 400 nits, and 120% DCI-P3 color space coverage.

There are two processor options: Intel Core Ultra 5 or Core Ultra 7, both with Intel Arc graphics. The built-in storage ranges from 256 GB to 1 TB (with support for SSD expansion slot), and the RAM size is 16 or 32 GB.

One of the highlights is the AI features in system apps. For example, the Photo Remaster feature in Samsung Gallery provides quick photo editing (removing shadows and light), and neural networks help process videos in the Samsung Studio editor.

The battery capacity is 63 Wh for the 14-inch version and 76 Wh for the 16-inch version. Both variants use a 65W charger included in the package. The smaller version weighs 1.23 kilograms, and the larger one weighs 1.56 kilograms. Available color options are silver and gray.

The port selection is the same for both models: HDMI 2.1 (supports 8K 60 fps, 5K 120 fps output to monitors), two USB-C/Thunderbolt 4 ports, and one USB-A port.

This laptop is nearly identical to the 16-inch Book 4 Pro model, except for the presence of a hinge that allows flipping the display and using the device in tablet mode under Windows control. It also comes with the S Pen stylus.

Processor specifications and RAM capacity are similar, but this model lacks an SSD expansion slot. The battery is also identical - 76 Wh, and the charging device has a power of 65W. The laptop weighs 1.86 kilograms, and color choices are limited to silver and gray.

The top-tier model is only available with a 16-inch screen (the same as the Pro model). Buyers are offered two processor options: Intel Core Ultra 9 with Nvidia RTX 4070 (8GB VRAM) and a more affordable version with Intel Core Ultra 7 and Nvidia RTX 4050 (6GB VRAM).

RAM capacity ranges from 16 to 64 GB LPDDR5X, and the built-in storage is represented by an SSD with capacities of 512 GB, 1 TB, or 2 TB, all variants equipped with an expansion slot.

The 76 Wh battery supports 140W charging, allowing the device to be charged 55% in half an hour, and it comes with a corresponding adapter. This version is only available in gray.
