Russians use Shahed drones for reconnaissance
Russians are attacking Ukraine with Shahed UAVs almost every day. However, the enemy also uses these drones for reconnaissance, says Andrii Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD).
In particular, he shared a photo that the Russians published from the camera of the Shahed. According to Kovalenko, a significant number of Russian reconnaissance drones do not have a combat unit.
“The Russians published footage from the Shahed's camera. As I said earlier, Russia is now also using Shaheds as reconnaissance drones, and a significant number of them fly without a warhead and are controlled remotely (using smuggled Starlinks, among others),” he wrote.
