Russians unleash massive artillery strike on Chornobaivka, Kherson region, at least one victim (video)

On the morning of August 13, Russian forces shelled Chornobaivka in the Kherson region with artillery. Due to the attack, a local woman was killed, and her home was completely destroyed, Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, reports.

Due to a direct hit, a residential house was completely destroyed. Rescuers pulled from the rubble the body of the killed woman, born in 1964.
In addition, the blast wave damaged several nearby houses - roofs and facades were destroyed, and windows were shattered. Emergency services continue to work at the scene.
Last week in Kherson, Russian forces attacked the Ostrivskyi Bridge for three consecutive days with guided aerial bombs. Following these strikes, local authorities expanded the evacuation zone for residents of the Korabel, Yantarnyi-1, and Yantarnyi-2 neighborhoods, as well as all streets located closer to the Dnipro River.
Media outlets suggest that the goal of these attacks is to destroy the bridge and attempt to land in Kherson's Korabel neighborhood to recapture the city. However, Ukraine's Defense Forces consider such a scenario unlikely.
