Russians trying to counteract Ukrainian anti-aircraft drones

The Russians are trying to counter Ukrainian anti-aircraft interceptor drones by installing systems on their drones, ironically nicknamed evaders by the Ukrainian military, according to the 28th separate mechanized brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign.
The brigade is actively fighting in the Toretsk sector, where interceptor drones are destroying Russian reconnaissance drones. Russians suffer significant losses in drones due to the work of anti-aircraft drones.
Therefore, the Russians began installing anti-aircraft FPV drone detection and countermeasures systems on Zala and Orlan. One of them was ironically named evader - it allows detecting the presence of an anti-aircraft drone and making a maneuver to evade the Russian attack.
However, the Ukrainian military quickly figured out the Russian tactics and found ways to counteract them. As a result, the brigade's operators have recently recorded 17 downed Russian drones, including Zala, Orlan, and Gerbera reconnaissance drones, as well as Lancet, Kub, and V2U strike drones.
Recently, the newly appointed Minister of Defense Denys Shmyhal stated that Ukraine will have more interceptor drones. The relevant results of the contracts are expected in the near future.
First Vice Prime Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov also said that Ukraine is actively working on the production of interceptor drones and that there are already first results.
And on July 13, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukrainian soldiers would continue to use interceptor drones to destroy the Shahed. According to him, hundreds of Russian targets were shot down in just one week.
