Russians strengthen position in Pokrovsk direction, say defense forces

Russian occupiers have improved their tactical position in the Pokrovsk direction, with fighting occurring near the settlements of Pushkine, Pishchane, and Shevchenko, reports the press service of Khortytsia operational and strategic group of troops.
As reported, over the course of a day, the enemy attempted to improve their tactical position in the area of Blahodatne, west of Dalniy, and near Yelizavetivka. However, the enemy was unsuccessful, suffered losses, and withdrew.
Additionally, Russian forces carried out assault operations southwest of Storozheve, southwest of the settlement of Sukhi Yaly, south of Kostiantynivskyi, and southwest of the settlement of Veselyi Hai.
According to Ukrainian forces, as a result of fire damage, fortifications were destroyed in certain positions, making their continued defense impossible.
"Due to exhausting combat encounters, the enemy improved their tactical position in the area of Pushkyne, Pishchane, and both west and east of the settlement of Shevchenko. Currently, our forces are taking measures to restore the tactical position," the report stated.
It is also worth noting that DeepState analysts previously reported the Russian occupation of settlements in Donetsk region, including Veselyi Hai, Yelyzavetivka, Romanivka, Novotroitske, and Pushkyne.
DeepState also stated that the occupiers advanced in Konstiantynopilske, Sukhi Yaly, Shevchenko, near Dalne, Pishchane, Blahodatne, and Storozhove.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 205 combat encounters were recorded on the front lines over the past day. Specifically, in the Pokrovsk direction, defenders managed to stop 62 Russian offensive actions.
It is also worth noting that recent reports circulated online about an alleged operational encirclement of Ukrainian forces near Uspenivka in Donetsk region. However, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have denied this information.
