Russians shell residential buildings in Nikopol, casualties reported

Today, on April 8, Russians attacked Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, with artillery, according to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak.
According to Lysak, there are two victims of the Russian morning shelling:
- 21-year-old girl;
- A 49-year-old man.
The victims are currently in hospital in moderate condition.
"A two-story residential building was destroyed there. Private houses, outbuildings, and cars were also damaged. An infrastructure facility was damaged, a gas pipeline and power lines were hit," adds the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

Attack on Ukraine on the night of April 8
On the night of April 8, Russian war criminals attacked Ukraine:
- with an Kh-59 aircraft missile;
- 24 Shahed-131/136 attack UAVs.
Fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare systems were involved in repelling the Russian attack.
The Ukrainian air defense shot down a Russian Kh-59 and 17 attack UAVs.
