Russians shell Kurakhove with high-explosive incendiaries: Killed and injured reported
Russian forces attacked the city of Kurakhove in Donetsk region on Friday, May 3. Two people were killed, according to the head of the Kurakhove City Military Administration Roman Padun.
"Early this morning, the enemy once again shelled Kurakhove with high-explosive incendiaries," he said.
According to the official, the central part of the city was affected, and high-rise buildings were damaged.
"Two people were injured, another two were killed. All information regarding damage and destruction is being clarified," Padun said.

Evening shelling of Kurakhove
In the evening, the occupiers also attacked Kurakhove, hitting the southern outskirts of the city. Electric networks were damaged, and part of the city remains without electricity.
Situation in Donetsk region
Russian forces constantly attack Donetsk region using various types of weapons. Invaders do not abandon the goal of reaching the borders of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
Russian command issued an order to capture Chasiv Yar by May 9. At the same time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces assured that the occupiers would not be able to capture Chasiv Yar by the specified date.
According to data as of May 2, Russian occupation forces did manage to break through and consolidate themselves in Ocheretyne, in the Avdiivka direction. Ukrainian Armed Forces introduced reserves for stabilization.
