Russians shell Kherson region with mortars, civilian killed
Russian terrorists fired mortars at Sadove village in the Kherson region. A man was killed as a result of the shelling, reports the press service of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
"In the afternoon, the occupants attacked the village (Sadove - ed.). One of the hits was to a private garage, where a 78-year-old man was at the time. He died on the spot from the blast injury," the press service writes.
According to the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, the shelling took place at about 11:20. Information about other victims is being clarified.
Shelling in Kherson region
After the liberation of the right bank of the Kherson region, part of the region is under constant shelling by the occupiers. Russians are attacking civilians with heavy weapons, artillery, and aircraft.
According to the head of the Kherson regional military administration Oleksandr Prokudin, Russian terrorists made 76 attacks against the region over the past day, December 2. A total of 397 shells were fired from mortars, artillery, Grad, ATGM, tanks, aircraft, and UAVs. In particular, 27 shells hit Kherson. The enemy hit:
- residential areas of the region's settlements;
- the territory of a plant in Kherson;
- the power grid in Kherson district.
"One person was wounded as a result of Russian aggression," Prokudin said.
RBC-Ukraine also reported that terrorists recently attacked the village of Tiahynka in the Kherson region, killing a civilian.
