Russians shell Kherson region with Grad rockets, killing a civilian
Russia attacked the village of Sofiyivka in the Kherson region with multiple rocket launcher systems. According to preliminary information, a civilian has been killed, as the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration Oleksandr Prokudin wrote on Telegram.
Prokudin reports that the enemy targeted the settlement with Grad rocket systems.
"According to preliminary information, a woman has been killed, and another man has been injured. Rescue services are working at the scene," the head of the administration writes.
The situation in the Kherson region
Since the de-occupation of the right-bank part of the Kherson region by Ukrainian forces in November 2022, Russians have been regularly shelling the territories controlled by Ukraine in the region.
On July 10, one person was injured as a result of an enemy attack. After the shelling of a residential area on July 9, a woman was injured.
