Russians shell eight settlements in Donetsk region: Killed and injured reported
Russian invaders have once again massively shelled the Donetsk region. Eight settlements were attacked, according to the National Police and the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Vadym Filashkin.
"Seven settlements were under attack: the cities of Pokrovsk, Selydove, Toretsk, the villages of Ocheretyno, Shcherbynivka, and the villages of Kotlyne and Predtechyno," the National Police says in a statement.
63 civilian objects were damaged:
- 30 residential buildings
- 3 buildings of an educational institution
- 6 outbuildings;
- 14 cars;
- agricultural machinery.
"Russia conducted an air strike on Ocheretyne, killing a woman and injuring two other civilians. Three five-story buildings were damaged," the National Police informs.
The Russian occupants also struck Kotlyne with a Grom-E1 hybrid bomb, damaging 15 private houses.
"Russian troops attacked Selydove with a UMPB D-30 SM guided aerial bomb and four S-300 missiles. Five apartment buildings and two private houses, the infrastructure of an educational institution and an agricultural enterprise were destroyed," law enforcement officials say.
In addition, it became known that four men aged 36 to 86 years old were killed in Siversk last night as a result of Russian shelling.
On April 13, 3 people were killed and 4 others were wounded in Russian attacks on civilian infrastructure in the Donetsk region by Russian occupiers.
The day before, on April 9, the Russian army attacked Sloviansk in the Donetsk region. Residents of the city were advised to stay at home for the next few days.
On the same day, the Russian occupiers struck the town of Kostiantynivka. It resulted in injuries and a casualty.
