Today, on January 1, Russian troops shelled localities in the Donetsk region with artillery. Two people died as a result of the attacks, according to the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin.
The Russian attack on the Ocheretyne community
"Just after midnight, the Russians fired on Orlivka, and in the morning - Ocheretyne. They used artillery both times," the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration says.
The shells damaged at least 3 private houses. One person was killed and another was injured as a result of the enemy shelling.
Russian shelling of the Toretsk community
Filashkin also says that Russians shelled the settlement of Pivdenne of the Toretsk community with artillery.
A 65-year-old man died as a result of this enemy attack.
Russian strike on Selydove in the Donetsk region
It was recently reported that Russians struck the town of Selydove. Rescuers reported one dead and four wounded.
Later, the police of the Donetsk region clarified that two people were killed and 14 others were injured as a result of the Russian strike.
