Russians report drone attack: Pumping station in Kaluga damaged
Russians have reported a new drone attack overnight on January 11, with a pumping station in Kaluga having allegedly been damaged, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense and Kaluga Region Governor Vladislav Shapsha.
The Russian Ministry of Defense claims that there was an attempt to strike objects on Russian territory overnight. As usual, the Russians accused Ukraine of a "terrorist attack."
Occupiers insist that three drones were intercepted in three regions - Rostov, Tula, and Kaluga.
In turn, the governor of Kaluga region reported that this morning, a drone supposedly exploded near the technical building of the pumping station on the outskirts of Kaluga.
"As a result of the explosion, the building was damaged. There were no fires or injuries," Shapsha wrote.

Yesterday, January 10, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that a drone was allegedly shot down in the Saratov region, blaming Ukraine. The governor of the region clarified that the drone was destroyed over the territory of the Engels district. The Engels airbase, where Russian strategic bombers Tu-160 and Tu-95MS are based for strikes on Ukraine, is located there.
Later, Russian media claimed that two drones, allegedly shot down, fell on the territory of the military airfield Engels 2.
According to RBC-Ukraine's sources in the security services, security and defense forces are behind the drone flights to that territory, and the consequences are being clarified.
