Russian forces prepare for assault in Kherson region, expecting heavy losses – Partisans
Russian military command is preparing for assault operations in the Kherson region. At the same time, the Russian forces expect significant losses of personnel, according to the ATESH partisan movement.
"An agent of the ATESH movement from the 1218th Motor Rifle Regiment of the Russian Armed Forces reported that command is preparing for assault operations, expecting significant personnel losses," the message states.
According to the partisans, all servicemen have received instructions to write their personal information (full name, service number, date of birth) on a piece of paper and place it inside a shell casing, which they must carry with them at all times. This is done for simplified identification in case of injury or death.
"This unit was formed after the start of the full-scale invasion and is primarily staffed by mobilized personnel. However, the Russian command spares anyone and does not take into account losses, issuing orders for desperate assaults and continuing to send their people to certain death," noted ATESH.
Situation in the Kherson region
Earlier, partisans reported that Russian forces were suffering heavy losses during attempts to advance on the right bank of the Kherson region. However, attempts to break through to the right bank continue.
Russian command is throwing troops into assaults on the left bank of the Kherson region but abandons their bodies.
Recently, Russian forces attempted to land on Kozatsky Island near Kherson, but the assault was a failure for them.
