Russian command abandons soldiers' bodies after assaults in Kherson region – Partisans
The Russian command sends its soldiers into assaults on the left bank of the Kherson region but refuses to take their bodies. This is done to avoid paying compensation to the families of the deceased, according to the ATESH partisan movement.
"Agents of the ATESH movement within the Russian Armed Forces report the lawlessness of the command of the 61st Naval Infantry Brigade on the left bank of the Kherson region. Commanders send soldiers on deadly assaults and then refuse to evacuate their killed comrades," the statement reads.
After one such assault, where more than half of the company was killed, the command refused to take the bodies of its deceased subordinates.
It is noted that this is done on orders from higher command to avoid paying compensation to the families of the dead. Officially, soldiers who died on the islands in the Kherson region are listed as "missing in action."
Surviving soldiers are clashing with their commanders, questioning why their comrades' bodies are left behind while boats continue to travel empty. The situation is worsened by the cynical behavior of the commanders.
Partisans report that, amid losses and such treatment, conflicts with the command are escalating, and incidents of sabotage and subversion among soldiers are increasing.
Previously, partisans reported that Russian forces suffered heavy losses during assaults on the right bank of the Kherson region. However, attempts to break through to the right bank continue.
