On Saturday evening, October 25, Russian forces attacked two districts of Kharkiv using drones. As a result of the strike, one private house sustained damage, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov’s statement.
"Preliminarily, we have information about a strike by a Molniya-type UAV in the Kyivskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts of Kharkiv… Emergency services are on site, inspecting the affected areas," the report said.
Later, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov clarified that an FPV drone strike had been recorded in the Shevchenkivskyi district, with the carrier likely being a Molniya strike drone.
"As a result, the roof of a private house and the window glazing were damaged. No casualties have been reported," he added.
At 05:46 PM Kyiv time, the mayor later said that the Molniya drone served as a carrier for two FPV drones.
"One of them hit the roof of a private house in the Shevchenkivskyi district, damaging windows. The other FPV drone struck the facade of a building, also in the Shevchenkivskyi district," Terekhov wrote.
As for the Molniya carrier itself, it crashed onto the roof of a dormitory in the Kyivskyi district. According to Terekhov, the warhead fell near the building, and explosive technicians are currently working at the site.

"As of now, five people have sought medical assistance due to acute stress reactions. Emergency services are working at the scene, inspecting the areas and documenting the aftermath," the mayor added.
Strikes on Kharkiv
Russian forces continue to regularly attack Kharkiv using drones, missiles, and aerial bombs.
For instance, on May 26, Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that Russian troops had used an FPV drone with an RPG-based warhead for the first time since the start of the full-scale invasion.
"This is a new, even more insidious threat that shows their attempt to find ‘weak spots’ in the city’s defense," he said at the time.
Just days ago, on the morning of October 22, Russian forces attacked a private kindergarten building with three drones. At the time of the strike, 48 children were inside. People outside were injured, and one municipal worker was killed.
