Russians hit Kherson region with artillery: Civilian killed
Russians shelled the Beryslav district in the Kherson region today, August 16. A man was killed as a result of the attack, according to the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.
Today, around 1:00 pm, the occupants launched artillery strikes on a village in the Beryslav district. A local resident was killed, he was outside on the street during the shelling.
In the morning, the Russian army also shelled Kherson and other settlements in the region. According to preliminary information, at least three civilians were injured.
Law enforcement agencies have launched criminal cases for violations of laws and customs of war.

Shelling of the Kherson region
After the liberation of Kherson and parts of the region, Russian aggressors are daily attacking the region using heavy weapons and aviation.
For instance, on August 13, the occupants heavily shelled the Kherson region. Due to the Russian strikes in Shyroka Balka, a family of a man, a woman, and an infant were killed. A 12-year-old boy sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital. Unfortunately, the child later died.
