Russians fired seven missiles at infrastructure facility in Odesa
Russian forces launched a missile attack on an infrastructure facility in the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district of the Odesa region during the daytime, reported the spokesperson for the Defense Forces of the South, Natalia Humeniuk, and the head of Odesa Regional State Administration, Oleh Kiper.
"Seven missiles of different classes were fired at an infrastructure facility in the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district, and the object was hit. The scale of the damage is yet to be specified. Currently, there is no information about casualties," stated Humeniuk.
Kiper emphasized that the Russians attacked a critical infrastructure facility, resulting in damage.
The spokesperson for the Defense Forces of the South highlighted that the shelling is a demonstration that the Russians will not stop and will continue their terrorist attacks.
She urged all region residents to remain vigilant and take cover in case an air alarm is announced.
Missile attack
Today during the day, air alarms were declared in several regions of Ukraine. The Air Force warned about possible missile launches toward the Odesa region.
Locals reported explosions in the Odesa region. Later, the Ukrainian Air Force spokesperson, Yurii Ihnat, said the region was attacked with anti-ship missiles "Onix."
Over the past week, Russia has intensified attacks on the south of Ukraine following Ukraine's exit from the "grain deal."
During this night, the occupiers shelled grain terminals in the Odesa region, destroying 100 tons of peas and 20 tons of barley. Two people and the emergency services' equipment were affected in the incident.
