Russian troops attacked the Dnipro region with kamikaze drones last night, January 1. One of the drones hit an industrial facility, according to the head of the Dnipro military administration, Serhii Lysak.

"In Dnipro, an enemy UAV hit one of the enterprises. There was a fire there. Firefighters extinguished it within an hour," said the head of the military administration.

According to him, one and a half thousand families in the Piatykhatska community of the Kamiansky district were left without electricity due to an occupier's drone that got caught on a power line. Experts promptly went to the site and fixed the issue.

Late in the evening on December 31, Russian troops launched several groups of Shahed-type kamikaze drones across Ukraine from the south. The explosions were heard in Mykolaiv, as well as in the Kherson region and the Dnipro region.

Russian troops also attacked Odesa and the region with kamikaze drones. The attack resulted in a death and injuries. Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, said that as a result of the Russian drone attack, direct and fragmentary hits were recorded in residential buildings in Odesa. There were also reports of 8 wounded and one dead.

In addition, explosions were reported in Lviv. It is known that drone debris caused fires in the Shukhevych Museum and one of the dormitories.
