Russians attack shipyard in Odesa region: Destruction and injuries reported
Russian forces launched a missile strike on a shipyard in the Odesa region on the morning of October 30. The attack resulted in significant damage and left two individuals injured, according to the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.
"In the morning, Russian terrorists launched missile attacks in the Odesa region, targeting the shipyard," Kiper said.
The attack caused a fire which was swiftly extinguished by emergency responders. The administrative building and equipment of the facility were also damaged.
In addition, two people were injured in the attack. A man and a woman, both in a moderately serious condition, were transported to a hospital where they are receiving necessary medical care.
Shelling of Odesa and the region
Explosions were heard in Odesa earlier today, prompting authorities in the city and the surrounding region to issue alerts due to the threat of ballistic missile strikes by the enemy.
Yurii Ihnat, a spokesperson for the Ukrainian Air Force Command, acknowledged that it is likely that the enemy employed ballistic missiles in this attack.
Russian overnight attack on Ukraine
During the night of October 30, Russian occupiers launched a strike with 12 combat drones of the Shahed type and two guided aviation missiles, X-59. All enemy targets were successfully intercepted and neutralized by Ukrainian air defense forces.
