Russia used a double-tap strike tactic during the attack on Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region. The second hit targeted rescuers who had arrived to extinguish the fire caused by the first strike, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports.

Yesterday evening (December 13 - ed.), the Russian troops struck a private sector, as a result of which a residential building caught fire. Emergency services worked at the scene and localized the fire to an area of 225 square meters.

"However, due to the repeated shelling and the threat to the life and health of the personnel, the emergency responders were forced to suspend fire extinguishing efforts and return to their unit," said the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the shelling.
