Russians attack Odesa region with drones: Consequences revealed
Russian troops attacked the Odesa region with drones at night. A fire broke out, and seven drones were shot down by Ukrainian air defense, according to the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.
"At night, Russian terrorists attacked Odesa region with attack drones. 7 drones in the sky over our region destroyed air defense forces," he says.
According to him, the wreckage of one of the downed drones fell in Odesa district.
"A fire broke out and was quickly extinguished. There were no damages or casualties," adds Kiper.
Russian drones attack
Russian troops attacked Ukraine with kamikaze drones late in the evening on January 7. In particular, there were explosions in the Odesa region. Ukrainian air defense systems were operating in the region. As it became known later, Russian troops launched 8 Shahed-131/136 drones into Ukraine. The air defense system shot down all the targets.
