Russians attack Kyiv with unknown drone
During the attack on the night of July 20, the enemy used not only missiles and kamikaze drones of the Shahed-136 type, but also another new drone of an unidentified type, reports Defense Express.
It was with the designation “drone of unidentified type” that it was included in the report of the Air Force Command, which reported that the actions of mobile fire groups, anti-aircraft missile troops, and electronic warfare units managed to shoot down 13 of the 16 Shaheds and one unidentified drone.
However, the first image of the wreckage of this drone, which is indeed very different from the Shahed-136, soon appeared online. Moreover, it was clarified that it was flying at an ultra-low altitude of 20-30 meters, which directly indicates that it is most likely a kamikaze drone.
Defense Express also received additional photos of the downed drone from its own sources. According to them, it is a UAV with a possible wingspan of more than 4 meters, beam plumage, a push rotor, and a square fuselage.
The newspaper noted that the drone may resemble the Russian ZALA 421-20, which has some similar features, but this one is a reconnaissance drone and therefore would be unlikely to fly at such a low altitude.

Moreover, drones of this type are not widespread and are unlikely to be produced anymore, as ZALA started promoting this drone in the early 2010s, and now it does not even appear in the company's product catalog.
