Russia's losses in Ukraine as of July 12: +1,240 troops and 49 artillery systems

Over the past day, from July 12 to 13, Russian forces lost another 1,240 soldiers at the front. Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 49 artillery systems and 101 vehicles, according to the report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to July 12, 2025, are estimated to be:
- personnel – about 1,033,930 (+1240) people wounded/killed;
- tanks – 11,016 (+3) units;
- troop-carrying AFVs – 22,983 (+3) units;
- artillery systems – 30,243(+49) units;
- MLRS – 1,438 (+1) units;
- anti-aircraft systems – 1,194 (+1) units;
- aircraft – 421 units;
- helicopters – 340 units;
- UAV operational-tactical level – 45,511 (+263) units;
- cruise missiles – 3,491 (+32) units;
- warships/boats – 28 units;
- submarines – 1 unit;
- vehicles and fuel tanks – 54,923 (+101) units;
- special equipment – 3,929 units.
Situation on the front
As of the evening of July 12, a total of 151 battles were recorded along the entire frontline. The most intense fighting took place in the Pokrovsk and Lyman directions.
