The Russian Volunteer Corps and Ukrainian forces have successfully repelled enemy advances, preventing Russian troops from entering the Dnipropetrovsk region, Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence reports.

In the joint operation, units of the Russian Volunteer Corps, the Brotherhood group from the Timur Special unit of Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence, and soldiers from the 5th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were involved.

“(The military - ed.) successfully stopped the enemy’s breakthrough attempts in the Donetsk region and prevented Russian forces from advancing toward the borders of the Dnipropetrovsk region,” the report stated.

Ukrainian intelligence agency noted that during assault operations, the Russian Volunteer Corps fighters captured 16 Russian soldiers. Among them were so-called flag bearers, tasked with filming fake news reports claiming the capture of Ukrainian settlements, including the village of Andriivka-Klevtsove.

Videos released by the fighters showed assaults, tank crews in action, precise drone strikes, and the capture of Russian soldiers.

“Intelligence reminds: appearing on our land with weapons and tricolors (Russian flags - ed.) always ends the same way - with destruction,” emphasized Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence.

Ukrainian Armed Forces' successes on front

Recently, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Ukrainian troops destroyed a drone command post of the Russian elite Rubikon unit in the Donetsk region. In addition, a large enemy ammunition depot was destroyed.

A few weeks ago, Ukrainian FPV pilots successfully destroyed a rare 140-mm North Korean-made mortar in the Sumy region, which Russia had received through military cooperation with North Korea.
