Volunteers from the Russian Volunteer Corps reported the capture over two dozen Russian soldiers during a raid in the Belgorod and Kursk regions.

The volunteers showcased the Russian soldiers they had captured. The leadership of the Russian Volunteer Corps reached out to Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor of the Belgorod region, urging him to attend a meeting to retrieve the prisoners.

Additionally, Russian volunteers debunked information regarding the alleged destruction of the Russian Volunteer Corps, stating that the limited military operation in the Belgorod and Kursk regions of Russia is ongoing.

Recently, Russian propagandists spread information on their Telegram channels claiming that the Russian Volunteer Corps was destroyed in Kharkiv due to Iskander missile strikes. They asserted that the RVC "practically ceased to exist," and its leadership and members were eliminated.

Russian Volunteer Corps' raid

On March 12, the Russian Volunteer Corps along with two other units breached the border with Russia and took control of several settlements, including those in the Belgorod and Kursk regions.

Earlier, Russian volunteers announced strikes on Russian military positions in Belgorod and Kursk. Residents of the Belgorod and Kursk regions were urged to evacuate. Later, the volunteers reiterated their call for evacuation.

Sources from RBC-Ukraine intelligence reported that the Russian authorities are obstructing the evacuation of civilians in the Belgorod region.

On the morning of March 16, explosions were heard again in Belgorod, and Russians complained about strikes. Several fires broke out in the city.
