Russian troops' night attack on Kharkiv: Photos of aftermath
Mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov shared photos of the aftermath of the night attack by Russian forces on Kharkiv on December 31, according to the mayor's Telegram channel.
"As a result of the night attack by Russian drones on Kharkiv, buildings in the city center were damaged. These are not military objects, but cafes, residential buildings, and offices," the mayor reported.
The photos show fires and destruction that occurred after drone strikes on the city.
Russians'attack on Kharkiv
On the night of December 31, Russians carried out a drone attack on Kharkiv. Residents of the city reported hearing at least five explosions. The mayor of the city, Terekhov, reported on destroyed buildings in the city center and damaged infrastructure.
The day before, on December 30, Russians shelled the center of Kharkiv, damaging a hotel and a residential building. Among the casualties were a foreign journalist and two children.
Later, it became known that 26 people were injured due to the rocket attack by the Russians.
Investigators have determined that Russian forces targeted Kharkiv with Iskander-M missiles.
By the way, photos of the Kharkiv Palace hotel, hit by a rocket from Russian forces, have surfaced.
