"The morning for Prykarpattia started uneasily. At dawn, Russia attacked the Ivano-Frankivsk region with attack drones. The target was critical infrastructure," she says.
According to the head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Military Administration, all aerial targets were neutralized, but fires started as a result of falling debris.
"Fortunately, there were no casualties. Relevant services are working on the spot. The situation is under control," Onyshchuk adds.
Russian shelling of Ukraine
Russian troops attacked Ukraine again using kamikaze drones. Explosions were heard in the Ivano-Frankivsk region and loudly in the Khmelnytskyi region. According to the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, last night, in two waves with an interval of 3 hours, the Russian troops sent groups of Shahed-131/136 attack UAVs from the south to the central and western regions of Ukraine.
This is not the first time the Russians have attacked the Ivano-Frankivsk region. On March 22, during a massive Russian shelling of Ukraine, a critical infrastructure facility was hit in the region. One person was injured.
