Russian total combat losses reach 238 thousand troops - General Staff
Over the weekend, as of July 17, Russian losses in the war in Ukraine reached 620 troops, with a total of 238,300 troops lost since the beginning of invasion. The Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 23 Russian artillery systems and 8 drones, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The overall enemy losses from February 24, 2022, to July 17, 2023, are approximately as follows:

Frontline situation
Russia is concentrating its main efforts on the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariupol directions. The Ukrainian Armed Forces delivered 15 attacks on the enemy's personnel concentration areas. The Ukrainian forces continue to advance on the Bakhmut and Berdiansk directions.
