One of the victims of Russia's massive drone attack on Vinnytsia on July 16 has died from his injuries, Vinnytsia mayor Serhiy Morhunov reports.

The man, 47-year-old Vitalii Balybliuk, sustained severe burns and wounds after a Russian drone strike targeted the enterprise where he worked.

"Doctors fought for his life all this time, but sadly, a miracle didn't happen. Vitalii was a civilian. A man simply doing his job, and he lost his life because of a war brought to our land by an aggressor," Morhunov said.

According to Ukraine's Air Force, 198 drones were shot down, while 145 decoy drones were suppressed using electronic warfare systems.

The strike targeted multiple regions, including Kharkiv, Kryvyi Rih, Odesa, and Vinnytsia, where the air was heavily contaminated after the attack.
