In Sumy, the number of wounded after the Russian attack has increased. Rescuers are clearing the rubble, according to a spokesperson for the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Sumy region, Oleh Strilka.

As of the morning of April 14, the number of people injured in Russia's missile attack on Sumy had risen to 119.

It happened the day before, on Palm Sunday, when Russian missiles hit the city center, including a trolleybus with passengers.

According to information, rescuers are currently working at the scene. They have already begun dismantling the rubble of the Sumy State University building, which has been heavily damaged.

Nearby, residents are cleaning up the area: sweeping up glass, removing debris, and helping utility workers.

Yesterday, April 13, on Palm Sunday, Russian troops launched a double missile attack on the center of Sumy, using ballistic missiles with cluster munitions.

The attack came at a time when the streets were packed with people, resulting in significant civilian casualties.

According to the latest reports, at least 34 people were killed, including children, and the number of wounded has already reached more than 115 people, including 11 children. As it became known, most of the victims were in a trolleybus that was passing by the site of the explosion.

Russian strike damaged residential and non-residential buildings, including the local university, and destroyed vehicles.

Local authorities and rescuers continue to eliminate the consequences of the Russian attack and provide assistance to the victims.
