Russian strike on Odesa: Shahed drone hits Nova Poshta facility but fails to detonate

On the night of May 1, Russian terrorists attacked a Nova Poshta post office with a Shahed UAV, but the drone did not detonate, the Telegram channel of Nova Poshta reports.
"Last night, a Russian Shahed directly hit and destroyed part of one of Nova Poshta's cargo post offices in Odesa. Fortunately, the kamikaze drone did not detonate. There were no employees at work during the night, so no one was injured," the statement says.
At the moment, debris is still being cleared at the post office, and the total amount of damage is being clarified.
"We have deployed a mobile post office for parcels up to 30 kg and do not expect any delivery delays... We will contact clients whose packages were destroyed and reimburse their value," Nova Poshta added.

On the night of May 1, Russian terrorists launched 170 drones and five Iskander-M ballistic missiles against Ukraine. The air defense managed to destroy 74 UAVs. Another 68 enemy decoy drones were lost locally.
During the attack, drones massively attacked Odesa. Hits were recorded in several locations. In particular, an enemy drone struck a 16-story building. In addition, a three-story house was partially destroyed, resulting in the death of a married couple.
