Russian strike on Odesa aftermath: 10 civilians injured so far
The number of people injured in the Russian shelling of Odesa on March 25 has reached 10. Three of them are in hospital, according to Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.
"As a result of yesterday's Russian rocket attack, 10 people were injured," he says.
In particular, seven people, including three women, are currently being treated in medical facilities.
"All the others were provided with assistance on the spot," adds the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.
In addition, according to him, about 300 apartments were damaged as a result of the strikes.
"Several buildings were destroyed. The Palace of Sports also sustained significant damage. Once again, I ask you to respond promptly to air raid alarms," the head of Odesa Regional Military Administration says.
Russian shelling of Odesa
On Monday afternoon, March 25, Russia once again launched a missile attack on the city of Odesa. Initially, it was reported that three women were injured, but later the number of victims increased to 4. There were also reports of damage to civilian infrastructure, two buildings were destroyed, and glass was broken in the houses around.
On March 26, the spokesperson for the South military command, Natalia Humeniuk, noted that 9 people were injured in yesterday's Russian shelling. She also adds that Russia used a double-strike tactic when attacking Odesa. This is not the first time the occupiers have used it.
