The number of victims in Sumy has increased after a Russian strike on a high-rise building. Russians attacked the city on January 30, according to the Prosecutor's Office of Sumy region.

Thus, the bodies of another married couple were taken out from under the rubble.

“As of 3:30 p.m. Kyiv time, 6 people were killed as a result of Russia's attack on a high-rise building,” the report says.

Prosecutors add that the victims are 3 couples - a 74-year-old man and his 69-year-old wife, a 65-year-old man and his 64-year-old wife, and a 61-year-old man and his 61-year-old wife.

On the night of January 30, the Russian army attacked the city of Sumy. As a result of a drone strike on a residential building, people were injured and killed.

During the day, the number of injured and dead was constantly increasing. At the moment, 9 people have been injured in Sumy, including a child, and six more have died.

In addition, the Russian attack preliminarily destroyed 9 apartments and 12 balconies. Rescuers managed to rescue 4 people, including a child and evacuated 118 residents.
