Russian strike on Kyiv: All missiles intercepted by air defense, no damage or casualties recorded
All enemy missiles launched for airstrikes on Kyiv were shot down by air defense forces and means this morning, February 15, according to the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Serhii Popko.
The official noted that there were no casualties or damage reported in the capital.
According to him, the missile strike by Russian invaders was coordinated.
"In particular, the enemy directed missiles of various types towards Kyiv. They approached the city from different directions," said Popko.
He added that the air raid in the capital lasted over 2 hours.
"All enemy missiles flying towards Kyiv were destroyed by air defense forces and means. (The exact number and type of missiles will be provided in the reports of the Air Force)," stated the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.

Earlier, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that several Tu-95 strategic bombers took off from the Olenya airfield in the Murmansk region on the territory of the Russian Federation.
It was also noted that the launch of enemy missiles from aircraft could take place around four o'clock in the morning.
Later, it became known about the operation of air defense systems on the approaches to the capital. Additionally, explosions were reported in Kyiv early in the morning.
Furthermore, explosions were also reported in Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia, and later in Lviv. In the latter city, air defense systems are also in operation. Explosions were also reported in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
