Two children were identified among those killed in Kostiantynivka after Russian shelling on August 9. These girls are 9 and 11 years old, according to the Prosecutor General's Office.

Update on Kostiantynivka attack

As of the morning of August 10, the bodies of two children — a 9-year-old girl and an 11-year-old girl — have been identified in Kostiantynivka. Ongoing examinations are being conducted to identify the remaining six individuals, including possibly one child.

According to the latest information, the number of fatalities stands at 14, with 43 people injured. Investigations are ongoing, and the number of affected individuals is being updated.

Under the procedural guidance of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation is underway into the breach of the laws and customs of war (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Attack on Kostiantynivka

On August 9, around 11:05, occupiers launched an airstrike on the center of Kostiantynivka. Preliminary reports indicate that the strike was carried out with an Kh-38 missile.

The missile hit a local shopping center housing food and household goods stores.
