Russian strike on Balakliia in Kharkiv region: Number of casualties rises

The number of casualties from the missile strike on a residential area in Balakliia, Kharkiv region, on October 1 has risen to nine. The State Emergency Service (DSNS) released photos of the aftermath.
This evening, the enemy struck the central part of Balakliia. A missile hit the ground near a five-story residential building. The explosion caused a fire that affected an apartment on the fifth floor and several cars.
According to preliminary reports, a 70-year-old woman was killed, and nine others were injured. Information is being verified.
Emergency units from the DSNS and local firefighters are working at the scene.

Missile strike on Balakliia
Earlier today, on October 1, Russian forces launched a missile strike on Balakliia in the Kharkiv region.
The missile hit the ground near a five-story residential building, causing a fire in one of the apartments. A parked car also caught fire.
Earlier reports stated that a 70-year-old woman was killed in the attack. Additionally, four women aged 79, 78, 35, and 60 were injured and hospitalized.
A 68-year-old woman also suffered an acute stress reaction.
