Russian strike hits Sumy: Six injured, new explosion rocks city

As a result of a drone (UAV) attack on an educational institution in Sumy, six people were injured. Another explosion was reported in the city, according to the Facebook page of the Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

The attack took place at around 11 a.m. Terrorists targeted one of the educational institutions in Sumy with a drone, injuring six people.

Repeated explosions
At 11:48 a.m., the Telegram channel Suspilne Sumy reported another explosion in the city. Prior to that, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) had warned about a drone flying over Sumy.
Russian attacks on Ukraine
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russian terrorists have been regularly shelling Ukrainian territory. During these attacks, the enemy uses various types of missiles, drones, guided aerial bombs, and artillery. Drone attacks are carried out nightly, posing an additional threat. During the repelled attack, air defense forces destroyed 61 drones. Another 47 UAVs were neutralized by electronic warfare systems.
