Russian strike hits suburban train in Kharkiv region, injuries reported

Russian forces struck a suburban train in Kharkiv region with a drone overnight on March 14. The train driver and his assistant were injured, according to the Telegram post from Deputy Prime Minister for Recovery and Minister of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, Oleksiy Kuleba.
"In Kharkiv region, the Russian army hit a suburban train with a drone. Passengers were not injured," Kuleba said.
However, he added that the driver and his assistant sustained shrapnel wounds. Medical personnel provided them with necessary treatment on site.
The locomotive, which was in use due to a power outage in the overhead lines, was also damaged.

The deputy prime minister noted that despite the attacks, passenger evacuations due to shelling threats and infrastructure damage, Ukrzaliznytsia trains continue to operate.
Attack on Ukraine on March 14
It should be recalled that Russian forces carried out a combined strike on Ukraine overnight on March 14. Several powerful explosions were reported in Kyiv, while Sumy and Zaporizhzhia regions were also targeted.
There are also reports of casualties in the Kyiv region.
