Russian strike hits PepsiCo facility in Ukraine's Mykolaiv region

PepsiCo's production facility in Ukraine's Mykolaiv region was damaged in another Russian attack. The company said there were no casualties, according to an official statement from PepsiCo Ukraine.
On August 29, PepsiCo's facility in the Mykolaiv region was damaged during Russia's attack. The company confirmed that no one was injured.
"The safety of our employees is our top priority, and we confirm that there were no casualties," the company said in a statement.
PepsiCo is currently assessing the full extent of the damage and taking steps to restore product supplies to customers and consumers in Ukraine.
The company operates two production complexes in the Mykolaiv region—one for snacks and another for beverages. PepsiCo is a leading player in Ukraine's juice market with its Sandora and Sadоchok brands. Its portfolio also includes Pepsi, 7UP, Mirinda and Lipton Ice Tea.
As previously reported, a number of Ukrainian businesses have come under Russian attacks in recent days. On August 27–28 alone, Russian forces attacked several business facilities, including Epicentr hypermarket, Nova Poshta postal operator, the Khortytsia distillery in Zaporizhzhia, and other companies.
