Russian strike hits Odessa residential building, casualties reported

Another brazen Russian attack on civilians has been reported in downtown Odesa. At least one person has been confirmed dead, states Odesa Regional Military Administration head Oleh Kiper.
A series of explosions rocked Odesa overnight on June 10 during an air raid alert.
One of the strikes hit a residential building in the city center. According to preliminary reports, one person, a 59-year-old man, was killed.
Four more people were injured, and medics are providing them with all the necessary care.
All emergency services are currently working at the scene.
The head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, stated that the damage is extensive and will be assessed in the morning.
For now, residents are being offered temporary shelter.
Other consequences of the attack on Odesa
The administrative building of the emergency medical services station was completely destroyed. A fire broke out at the site, and several ambulances were damaged. Fortunately, no medical personnel were injured.
All relevant emergency services are continuing their work to eliminate the aftermath of the attack. Law enforcement officers are documenting yet another brazen Russian war crime against the civilian population of the Odesa region.

During the night of June 10, a nationwide air raid alert was declared across Ukraine as Russian drones launched large-scale attacks on Kyiv and other cities.
Explosions were heard in the Ukrainian capital. Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko confirmed that air defense systems were actively responding to the threat. Reports also surfaced about a possible missile strike.
