The Russian army has launched another strike on critical infrastructure in the city of Kherson. This time, the gas network was damaged, Yaroslav Shanko, Head of the Kherson City Military Administration, reports.

According to Shanko, due to the damage, private homes and apartment buildings in parts of the Korabelnyi city district have been left without gas.

"I ask residents to be understanding and patient - we are doing everything possible to restore gas supply as quickly as possible," the Head of the Kherson City Military Administration wrote.

Shanko also clarified that over the past day, five settlements of the Kherson community came under enemy fire. In particular, Kherson, Antonivka, Prydniprovske, Naddniprianske, and Sadove were targeted by Russian aviation, artillery, and drone terror.

Due to the shelling, civilian infrastructure was damaged and destroyed - both apartment buildings and private homes. Reports indicate that one person was killed in the Kherson community, and six others were injured.

Russian strikes on Kherson

Due to its close proximity to the frontline, Kherson suffers daily from Russian attacks.

In particular, on the night of June 21, Russian forces struck residential neighborhoods in Kherson. The Central city district came under fire. Apartment buildings were damaged - windows shattered, balconies, roofs, and facades were wrecked.

A week earlier, on June 17, 12 people in Kherson were wounded by Russian drone strikes. All were hospitalized.

Furthermore, on June 11, two civilian women were injured in another Russian attack on Kherson. According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, around 4:00 a.m. local time, Russian troops shelled the Shumenskyi neighborhood.
