Russian forces carried out a series of strikes on the KSM Protec plant in Ukraine's Kyiv region on October 10-11, destroying the facility. The plant manufactured lubricants, according to the company's official website.
"During another wave of Russian drone attacks, the production facilities of KSM Protec, a Ukrainian company specializing in lubricants, were completely destroyed," the company said.
It added that KSM Protec had been part of Ukraine's industrial market, supplying products to meet domestic demand.
"The consequences of these attacks have affected not only the company but also its employees, customers, and partners. The complete destruction of the production facilities has forced the company to halt operations," the statement said.
Russian strikes
On October 7, during overnight attacks on Kyiv, Russia completely destroyed the central warehouse of ATL Auto Service retail chain. The warehouse was the primary distribution hub for the company's lubricants, batteries, and other automotive components.
The company said its ATL service centers and auto stores continue to operate as usual and meet all customer needs. It also stated that it remains financially and operationally stable.
The company was assessing the extent of the damage and promised to provide more detailed information later.
