Russian strike destroys Bosch warehouse in Ukraine, wiping out all stored products

A Russian attack on the night of August 5 destroyed the warehouse facilities of Bosch Ukraine’s logistics partner. All products stored in the warehouse were destroyed, the company’s press service reported.
"As a result of another Russian attack, the warehouse facilities of our logistics partner, where Bosch products from various business divisions, including mobility, consumer goods, and industrial technology, were stored, were destroyed," the company said.
No employees of the logistics partner or Bosch were injured.
According to preliminary information, all Bosch products stored in the warehouse were destroyed.
"Together with our logistics partner, we are already working on assessing the consequences and on solutions that will ensure the continuity of business processes and the fulfillment of our obligations to customers and partners," the press service added.
Russian strikes on businesses in Ukraine
During the night of August 5, Russia launched another missile and drone attack, using ballistic missiles. The main strike targeted the Kyiv region, where people were killed, and the logistics hubs and warehouses of many companies came under attack.
Among those destroyed were the warehouses of Epicentr (Ukraine's largest home improvement and building materials retailer), ROZETKA (Ukraine's largest online retailer), Silpo (a major supermarket chain), NOVUS (a supermarket chain), Nova Poshta (Ukraine's largest private postal and parcel delivery company), and others.
Following the massive Russian attack on logistics infrastructure in Kyiv and the surrounding region, some Ukrainian businesses have already reported losses worth billions, while the government is preparing urgent measures to support companies. Experts warn that ordinary consumers may also feel the consequences.
