Russian shelling of Sumy: Death toll rises
In Sumy, 12 people were killed as a result of a Russian strike on November 17. Efforts to address the aftermath of the attack are ongoing, according to the Sumy regional military administration on Facebook.
"The death toll from the missile strike in Sumy has risen to 12, and the relevant services continue working to address the aftermath," the regional military administration reported.

At the same time, the head of the regional military administration, Volodymyr Artyukh, reported that among the 12 fatalities were two children.
According to him, 84 people sustained injuries of varying severity, including 12 children who are receiving necessary medical assistance.
"One child was transported to the capital for specialized surgical intervention. Doctors will do everything possible to save their life," Artyukh stated.
He added that the attack damaged 2,200 windows in residential buildings.
Strike on Sumy
On November 17, the Russian army targeted a densely populated area of Sumy with missiles. One of the strikes hit a multi-story residential building.
As per the latest official information, 11 fatalities had been reported following the enemy's attack on Sumy.
