Russian shelling of Kharkiv region: One fatality reported
Russian invaders shelled the city of Chuhuiv in the Kharkiv region. A woman was killed as a result of the attack, according to the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
According to his statement, Russian military forces struck the city twice.
The attack resulted in damage to an educational institution. Additionally, a civilian woman, who worked as a boiler room operator, was killed. Medical assistance was provided on-site to another injured individual.
The Air Force reported a threat of the use of ballistic weapons in the Kharkiv region.
Shelling in the Kharkiv region
On Wednesday, January 17, invaders targeted the village council in Malyi Burluk. As a result of the attack, two children were injured. Private residences were damaged due to strikes on Kupiansk.
During the night of January 16, the Russian forces shelled Kharkiv with S-300 missiles. Seventeen people were affected, and there is one confirmed fatality.
